Move aims to further growth of company

HARD work and dedication have made it possible for a north Hampshire firm to move to new premises four times larger than the office in which it started business four years ago.

On Monday, Brandedmedia boss Sean Fergusson moved his 34-strong team to the company's third office.

Now based at the Lutyens Trading Estate, in Bilton Road, Chineham, the firm boasts clients as diverse as the AA, Northern Rock, Virgin, global accounting giant KPMG and TV hypnotist Paul McKenna.

Thirty-three-year-old Mr Fergusson, who heads up the £4.5million CD/DVD and multimedia duplication house, hopes the move will enable the company to reach his goal of more than quadrupling its staff to a 150-strong payroll in the next two years.

"Brandedmedia's phenomenal growth in such a short period of time has only been achieved through the hard work and dedication of the entire team," explained Mr Fergusson.

The company started out in Winchfield, before moving to Ringway Centre, in Houndmills, Basingstoke. Its latest move coincides with the employment of four new full-time members of staff, all of whom will be working in client-facing roles.

It also heralds a new era for the growing business as it extends its product range to include USB flash devices and offers warehouse storage facilities to clients for the first time.

Mr Fergusson said: "As a local employer, we've always recruited from the Basingstoke area where possible.

"With the move and the expansion of the business, we believe Brandedmedia will continue to go from strength-to-strength, bringing prosperity to the local area despite increasing competition in the multimedia industry."

Reflecting on the challenges of starting a business from scratch, the managing director said: "I'm so thrilled with the success we've made of Brandedmedia in such a short space of time.

"It's hard to believe that it started life in a barn just four years ago - using packing boxes for seats in our tiny meeting room!"

Brandedmedia successfully expanded into continental Europe earlier this year with the opening of its Swedish office, winning deals with Ikea and Volvo.

Plans are also under way to replicate the firm's success story on the other side of the Atlantic, with a USA launch within the next 12 months.
